Bringing a new family member home can be exciting for the whole family. You are giving your newly rescued pet a secure and loving home. And they are bringing joy into your home.
Any transition has an adjustment period. Rehoming a rescue may come with unforeseen challenges. The pet may have come from an abused home or suffered long periods on the streets or shelter before finding their forever home. These can manifest into behavioural issues that need extra support and patience in order for the pet to be fully adjusted into the home. Trauma holds deeply and for long periods of time.
How can animal communication help?
Unlock the secrets of the past
Through gentle communication, I can find out previous living conditions, answer the ‘what happened?’ and find out the pet’s ideal home life. They are very quick to tell me their preferences, and I am happy to convey these messages to you.
I had a beautiful and revealing conversation with a rescued horse who showed me her horrid living conditions with her previous humans. She also let me know how grateful she is to be in a safe space – even though, it will take her some time to fully trust. I have recently spoke to her new guardian who shared that she is adjusting amazingly thanks to the conversations I have had with her.
Release past traumas
I use the Dr Bradley Nelson technique to help find blocked emotions and release them. The shift happens immediately. I have found that behavioural issues slowly fade away with this method. Through the session, I find out when and the reason why the blocked emotion occurred. This exercise also helps fill in the gaps of the pet’s history.
Recently, I chatted to a rescued dog who was abandoned by his previous family. I worked with him to release blocked emotions related to being rejected. He is thriving in his new forever home.
Bonding support
Your rescue wants to feel loved, and you want to make sure it is. Communication and healing can help develop the bond between them and yourself. You can ask for answers or request a message to be conveyed to help with the bonding process.
Just by requesting an animal communicator or healer to connect, the pet knows it is loved deeply by you. There is no limit on how many sessions you can do with your new rescue. I can also guide you to do treatments for them including TTOUCH, MIR Method and Body Wraps – all designed to inspire calmness and bonding. During the communication session, energy healing may be required which can be done at the same time.
All communication and healing sessions are done you and the pet’s full permission.
If you would like to discuss further if it is the right time to do a communication session for your rescue, you are welcome to contact me.
